Hi Karen:
This is Teressa and I came in to check on Faith and saw your mail and was really touched by it. This has to be a first for us and we appreciate it as much as anything we have ever received from any supporter of a patient. In fact maybe more as we get to see the personal side of you and where you live and your dogs, (I am so sad for you about Max)
I know you loved him very much. We really enjoyed the photo's and the song that we had never heard. And the candy which none of us need and the beautiful flowers. All was just great and we will make sure everyone on the team will get to see it. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and caring enough to go to all that work for us. It make it very special.
Faith is doing as well as we expected this morning she had some minor problems with her breathing this morning but all is well now, with all those tubes in her it is hard not to have some problems and that is why the nurses are only 30 feet away here in ICU. They are scheduled to take her off life support today and that will be sometime around 11am here and Kay starts her double shift at 11am so she will email you with progress and let you know what is going on when she can. If I sounded rather cold the other day when I mailed you I was not trying to be for I have been running between the office where I work and the hospital and it gets a little much sometimes. I work at the office and not at the hospital. But come here when The Dr. is busy and we need to check on our patient's.
Well I have a family picnic to go to this day and have to run but I will leave a note for Kay to look at your work and what you sent us and tell her to be sure to mail you with updates on Faith Thanks again for our present and have a good day. We are making sure that Faith is well taken care of so don't worry so much. With support like you anyone would be so lucky. I know you must have very deep feelings for her.
