GOOD LUCK FAITH FROM US ALL

Hi Karen:

This is Kay and don't panic but I was told by Teressa that I was to inform you of any changes, I got here just as they were removing life support from Faith and She almost crashed again but we worked for almost an hour and she is stable again without any life support. She is breathing on her own and her vitals are very low but stable. She is getting 8 liters of Oxygen per minute and her lungs are going to need time to recover from the drugs that they used on her in surgery. Looking at her charts she is going to be here in ICU for a while yet. She got some water which she needed as her mouth was very dry from all the tubes that were down her throat and up her nose. Now she just has monitors on her and she is resting well and we are very close in case of a problem and she has a crash cart right beside her bed. She whispered to me and ask if you had contacted us and I told her yes many times and she smiled and said tell you she missed you very much.

I was just sitting here catching my breath and saw what you had sent to us and it really touched me as your love for your dogs and the beautiful scenes of your home and the candy, and flowers what a wonderful work of art and a lot of work for you to do for us. It is really a big hit here with every one. Thank you for thinking of us and sending it our way.
Give me a minute I have to go see Faith again.

Ok back again she had heard the music when we were playing it on what you sent and she wanted me to tell you thanks for it as she loves it. She also said take care of the Castle, if that means anything to you. She is not out of the woods yet but we are working on it so just believe in her and you thoughts and prayers and we are all pulling for her. I am going to change her bandages today but want to wait till later when she settles a little more. Maybe by then her vitals will come up some. Because I have to turn her to change the bandages. I will be here all night so if anything changes I will let you know and thank you again for thinking of us we all really love it.
